Carbon fiber is a new generation of reinforcing fiber. Compared with traditional glass fiber, the Young's modulus of carbon fiber is more than three times that of glass fiber. Compared with Kevlar fiber, the Young's modulus of carbon fiber is more than twice that of glass fiber. It is insoluble and does not swell in strong acids, bases, and organic solvents, with outstanding corrosion resistance and no rusting problems. Compared with metal materials such as steel and titanium, carbon fiber has the advantages of low density, low coefficient of expansion, and high strength in physical properties, and has excellent performance in the automotive industry, aerospace, sports equipment, and other fields. The mainstream forming technologies for carbon fiber currently include fiber winding forming technology, weaving forming technology, dual-mode forming technology, and hot press molding technology. Fiber winding forming technology is an early developed continuous forming process, which is characterized by the ability to arrange carbon fibers according to certain rules based on the stress situation of the product, thereby exerting the strength of carbon fibers; Carbon fiber materials using weaving molding technology have superior impact damage resistance and shear strength compared to traditional laminated composite dual-mode molding technology. The prepreg is placed between metal or resin films and sealed and cooled for shaping.
